"L’écho lointain d’un musicien qui n’a jamais existé. « Etang de l’Or », c’est l’envie de créer devenue solide : c’est le premier morceau de Fichon, mélomane passé de l’autre côté du miroir. Née de l’expérimentation, cette esquisse s’est concrétisée pour permettre de sonder les oppositions inhérentes à la matière.

Synthétique et aléatoire, le fil rouge est pourtant le seul élément analogue et constant dans le marécage aurifère des bruits digitaux. Un métal malléable transforme l’étang en quelque-chose de rigide : c’est le reflet analogue des échos liquides/solides rassemblés ici."
